Hello World of Web Design Work

The first blog for the brand new release of the efastnet blog. Its been over two years since the idea of changing the company name to efastnet. traintrain web design has served its purpose and it's going to be sad to think I wont be answering the phone with that name for much longer. People often ask; why traintrain? Thats not a very good thing to be asking about the name of a company that is in marketing business so the name had to change. And so I began searching. I was looking for a name that would say something about what we do, and also be about the area of west cork. I thought of Fastnet due to the fastnet rock and also the name sounded like it had something to do with weby stuff. Of course than name had been taken so along came the 'e' and that was it - efastnet web design in cork

I'm just completing this first blog entry and in two days time efastnet becomes a reality. I'll post more about efastnet at a later date.

UPDATE: I've been asked what it is about the name efastnet that gives it local relevance. I'm sure those of you in the County Cork area need no explanation, but for those of you further afield, and with no further ado here's the blurb.

Just off the coast of West Cork, about two 4 miles out to sea is a small pillar of rock that potrudes just above the high water mark. This little geological spike is called the Fastnet Rock, and in turn lends its name to the nearest sea area that you here mentioned on the Shipping Forecast
